The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness on the status of Malaysian fisheries, where in some parts of Malaysia our demersal fish stocks have declined by as much as 90%, and to promote sustainable seafood choices through Malaysia’s first sustainable seafood guide.

Thanks to AsiaEvents Exsic’s support for the campaign, we will be at the MIDE 2010 Press Conference on 15 June 2010 at 9.30am at Legend Hotel where the seafood guide will be available for distribution. The SOS team will also be distributing the seafood guide at MIDE 2010 from 30 July to 1 August 2010, as well as giving talks about the campaign.
