16,000 copies of SOS guides distributed in Flavours magazine

The Save our Seafood (S.O.S) campaign has yet again hit the streets with its new initiative – 16,000 copies of the SOS guide have been distributed as inserts in Flavours magazine. Flavours magazine is Malaysia’s premier food and lifestyle magazine published by Star Publications (who also publishes The Star newspaper, a popular local daily in Malaysia) and are distributed throughout Malaysia, as well as Singapore. Flavours magazine will also feature articles on sustainable seafood, starting with an article on shrimps in their Jan/Feb 2011 issue. The magazine had previously featured the SOS launch in the July/Aug 2010 issue and they mentioned the guide again in one of the recipe articles in the Sept/Oct 2010 issue as their own initiative to be green. |
