To promote sustainable seafood consumption, WWF-Malaysia’s Marine Programme launched the Save Our Seafood (S.O.S) campaign in 2010 with the following objectives to:
- Raise awareness on the current fisheries status,
- Promote sustainable seafood choices and consumption, and
- Influence market transformation.
In the S.O.S campaign, we aim to engage with both businesses and the public through various outreach activities. One of our main activities is the Sustainable Seafood Festival, an annual event filled with a series of business and public events.
