How to use the guide
Choosing sustainable seafood is easy. Whenever you want to buy or eat seafood or organise a banquet with seafood items, always refer to the Seafood Guide, pick the "Recommended" (GREEN) species and stay away from the "Avoid" (RED) species.
In a restaurant
restaurant 1 While deciding what to order from the menu, take out your seafood guide

restaurant 2 Please do not choose any seafood dish from the Avoid (Red) list

restaurant 3 Check in the menu for seafood items that are listed as Recommended in the seafood guide

restaurant 4 Do not hesitate to ask the waiter/waitress where the fish comes from

restaurant 5 Or try to find out whether it was wild caught or reared in an aquaculture farm

restaurant 6 If the waiter/waitress is unsure, please pick another seafood dish from the Recommended category or those from the less preferred Think Twice (Yellow) category

restaurant 7 Ask the restaurant to provide more seafood dishes from the Recommended list - share the seafood guide with them for reference
